How do i transfer musc from my ipod to itunes if the ipod is linked to another itune?

the music in my ipod was downloaded from my friend's computer so its technically linked to that itunes and i find it impossible to transfer the music in my ipod to the itunes in my own computer. Is there an easy way to do this or are there programs i need to download to make this work. What's the easiest way to do it.

Yes, don't use the drm plaged itunes.

There are lots of other programs that will transfer the files from your ipod to the computer without the rediculious limitations of itunes.

google for them.
Reply:you gan get tprograms called ipod mangers that do better than itunes. I reccoment floola on your computer, and put poddox on your ipod itself if you want to put on a couple of songs at a friends house
Reply:I think you must first transfer music from your ipod to your computer. There are several methods to copy from iPod to computer manually, but a much easier and quicker way to do this job is to use some 3rd party software I think.

If you are using Mac, you can try yamipod. It's free and my friend told me it can copy songs from ipod to computer.

If you are using Windows, you can try iPod Copy Expert, which I'm currently using. It can not only copy songs from iPod to any folder on your PC, but transfer playlists, ratings and play count back to your iTunes automatically.

Hope this helps!
Reply:Unfortunately there's not a way to do this without buying a software program, and iTunes won't let you do it either (as you've discovered). I broke down and bought a copy of iPod 2 iTunes and have been very happy with it... even blogged about it a little at the link below.
