Its easy to link my phone to the hands free system but I have to do this each time a get into the car. Is there a way to keep a certain phone linked?
Is there a way to keep a phone linked to a hands free systrem in a 2007 camry?
My phone, a Samsung, has an option under "handsfree connection" asking if I wanted it to connect every time. I had to click 'yes' and the problem went away. The "letstalk.com" answer is perfect as it sets you up by your particular phone.
Good luck.
Reply:Hi,The motorcycle rider in your previous answer must not realize that the 2007 Camry is equipped with Blue Tooth and that is what is making it hands free. I had a 07 Camry and never actually used the blue tooth in it but we now have the new Prius and we use the blue tooth wireless it is defintley little simpler to configure for as user friendly because the prius had a display touch screen so u can actually see what u r doing. it should connect blue tooth as soon as your cell phone is in the vicinity and the car power is on.if it does not check ur blue tooth settings on your phone and ensure they are all enabled. if so do you have another passenger in the car with a blue tooth capable phone? if so and theres is also enabled it can intefere with the system. if its only you then check your owners manual for configuration settings and options and if this fails contact your cellular provider. On the prius we first had a NOkia it worked well with the blue tooth in car then my wife got a new phone a Samsung well it would never stay connected.sorta like the problem you are describing, So luckily she had the 16 day period for a free exchange to another phone so she took it back and got a LG it works well and connects as soon as the power is on. so dnag good it can be agrivating step out side the car with car still running to make a call its connected to the blue tooth inside the car. so have disable it.then sorry I coudlnt give a more exact answer but i laid out the options i know and also you can visit Toyotas websiet and there is a toll free number to call coalled Lets Talk Toyota.. they may can help you there. Good Luck and The 07 Camrys is a awesome Car BIg improvement over previous years . we had a 2005 camry first and got a sweet trade deal into the 07 camry and its nt the same car at all. Very nice. roomy you should enjoy it, Good Luck with the wireless%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;.................
Reply:get 1 of those blue tooth, im a motorcyle rider , and stupid dumb car drivers think its more important to take a call when driving, but at least you try to have hands free, whitch , people who use cell phones and drive there dumb cars, just get to me. stupid selfish people, hope you dont kill someone with your stupidness and selfishness .
Reply:Regardless of what phone you have, it should stay linked. I think the fault is in the car, whether there is an actual problem, or there is a save function you haven't done. Go to http://toyota.letstalk.com and you will find complete instructions on linking any compatible bluetooth phone to your Camry. If those instructions do not solve the problem, you need to take it back to Toyota and let them address it.
Reply:Check with your cell phone company.
