Has anyone experienced skin rashes (redness of skin and small spots) linked to TMJ?

I've got basically what we called bad teeths, several (3 molars) has been removed so of course I wear now a prothesis device (which is not so well fitted anymore) and I am wearing a splint at night which is not so well fitted anymore. Anyway I've been coping with pain eevrryday for 13 years now, but the funny thing is it doesn't seems to be reported anywhere that people experienced skin problem linked with tmj. A possibility that might be questionnable is if I have latent infections in some teeth with root canal in that case did anyone see anyhting related to that. I'll be happy to continue this topic via email.thanks for any answers.

One thing you must consider with latent infective process is; systemic infection which may show up in the form of a rash.. Should that infection be of the strep variety, such a systemic infection causes other damage, aside from a rash... Would be well advised to be examined to make that determination.
Reply:going to the dentist or doctor is a way
Reply:stop smoking the smak.
Reply:there is no direct relation to TMJ but you can get somethjing called melkerson-rosenthal syndrome which can give you rashes, spots or blisters near the TMJ

you can also ger something called shingles which also coincidentally happens over the TMJ
