Could alot of the debt in this country be linked to the need to "fit-in"?

I started wondering this when a fellow co-worker of mine bought a house 2 years ago because EVERYONE around her was buying houses. She bought knowing she couldn't afford ownership on her salary but she didn't want to be left out(oh brother,what a lemming!) and now she is in pre-foreclosure.

Reply:Wow... awesome question, its really something to think about... How many things do I really buy because I think its cute and "everyone is going to love it!!" I catch myself buying stuff caues it looks like someone elses, or mine isn't as good as theirs. I do believe a lot of people are in debt due to living up to society and its "standards"........... Reply:It doesn't matter whether the Democrats or Republicans run the country, or the world for that matter. All the problems, the poverty, the illnesses of the world are caused by Godlessness. So it doesn't matter if there is some sort of social revolution, some major breakthrough in science, medicine, philosophy, or anything else you can think of; nothing can fix the world and solve it's problems. Nothing that is, but Christ, whom the Bible says will rule the nations with an iron rod for 1000 years when he comes back at the end of the final apocalypse.
