MS Excel: I need to create several scenarios of a group of linked workbooks and spreadsheets.?

I have a top level workbook that has several spreadsheets in it. Each sheet is linked to a sheet in other workbooks that are stored in locations on the network. I want to create several scenarios of this situation to study the effect that values in the linked sheets have on a particular calculation in the top level workbook. Can this be done? and if so what is the best way to do this?
